1.BAFTA Mentoring Scheme
The BAFTA Mentoring Scheme is back!
Deadline: 17:00 on 27 Feb
Applications for our mentoring programme in partnership with BAFTA are now open.
Apply now to take part in peer-to-peer mentoring by an industry professional who can offer guidance as you progress towards a career in film or television, supported by BAFTA
Successful applicants will receive one to one mentoring from an industry professional. In addition, there will be a special mentoring induction session with other mentees and access to an afternoon of talks at our online career surgeries.
Eligiblity
- You will be 18 or over by the application deadline of 27 Feb
- You have previously taken part in a BFI Film Academy course since Sep 2019
- You have not previously been matched with a mentor by BAFTA
- You can demonstrate a passion for the area you are applying for
No experience is required.

1. Go to apply.bafta.org/entrant
2. Select ‘Register’, and register a new account
3. Once you have registered, go to the ‘Create Application’ tab
4. Find ‘BAFTA Mentoring – BFI Film Academy Alumni Programme’
5. Select ‘Create a new application’ and this will take you to the application form
